Adelungia primigena Dlabola, 1984: 37, figs 39–41.

Material examined: Kerman province: 49 ♀ ♂ Jiroft, Kahnuj, 6 km E. Rameshk, Baru, 14.iii.1978, Pazuki leg. (HMIM). Sistan & Baluchestan province: 1♂ Khash-Sardarya, 28°37′38.7′′N, 61°00′56.3′′E, 22.iv. 2012, 2583m, Mozaffarian leg..

Notes: The male paratype (30 km N. Bampur 12–13.iv.1973, Loc. No. 159 (HMIM) designated by J. Dlabola in his original description of Adelungia primigena (Dlabola, 1984) was listed without indication of the museum for its depository. Our review of archived communication between J. Dlabola and H. Mirzayans discovered that Dlabola sent this specimen to Tehran before completing and publishing his study on genus Adelungia . This specimen was then mentioned by Mirzayans (1995) and Mozaffarian (2017) in the lists of Auchenorrhyncha of HMIM. However, in fact, the specimen mentioned above from Bampur belongs to Adelungia elegans .

The species is known as endemic to Iran and was already recorded from Bampur, Bazman, Espakeh, and Hajiabad in the southeast of the country (Dlabola, 1984, Mirzayans, 1995). The material listed above expands its known distribution still limited to the southeast of Iran (Fig. 31).
