Types. Holotype: ♂, Tsak Yue Wu, Sai Kung West Country Park, Hong Kong, 25.VII.1996, Chan Ping-Wing (SEM) ; Allotype: 1♀, Tsak Yue Wu, Sai Kung West Country Park, Hong Kong, 27.VII.1996, Chan Ping Wing (SEM).

Distribution. Hainan (Shangxi and Wuzhishan), Guangdong, Guangxi and Hong Kong (Type locality), China. Also Vietnam.

Notes. This is a new record for the species in Hainan.
