Genus Parasaveljevia Wieser, 1953

Emended diagnosis (after Smol & Coomans 2006, and including original data). Enoplolaiminae . Lips high. All anterior sensillae setose. Asymmetric spoon like mandibles, ventro-sublateral mandibles wider and broader than dorsal mandible. Teeth unequal, dorsal tooth small or reduced and two large ventro-sublateral teeth extending beyond anterior end of mandibles. Base of ventro-sublateral-dorsal teeth near or at the level of the mandibular ring (see Discussion). Presence of well-developed posterior processes for muscle insertion inside cephalic capsule. Short cephalic capsule. Cirri-shaped cephalic organs present. Denticles on mandibular plates present.

Type species: Parasavaljevia cirrifera Wieser, 1953

Synonymous: P. cirrifera Wieser, 1953 in Pastor, 1995 = Enoploides sp.

Species Inquirendae: P. lupata Wieser, 1953 and P. clavicauda (Filipjev, 1927) because they are known only from females or juveniles.
