Lepturguncus (Chaeturguncus) Gilmour, 1961: 350 . Syn. nov.

Type species— Lepturguncus (Chaeturguncus) vittulatus Gilmour, 1961 (original designation).

Diagnosis. Antennae of males with internal projection at apex of antennomere V and/or VI; lateral tubercles of the prothorax coincident with the lateroposterior angle or placed near it; elytra without centrobasal crest or carinae; erect setae present only at margins. Number of species currently included: 7.

Remarks. Paroecus can be included in the alternative of couplet “2” from Monné et al. (2020):
