Type locality — Syntypes male and female: Brazil meridional (MNHN) .

Distribution— Brazil (Mato Grosso, Goiás, Paraíba, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul), Paraguay, Argentina (Misiones).

Genera with erect setae on elytra, omitted in Monné et al. (2020)

Recently, Monné et al. (2020) published a key to South American genera of Acanthocinini with erect seta on elytral surface. However, some genera were omitted in this work and subsequently are included below.
