Pediculaster luriei Camerik and Coetzee, 1998, p. 27, Figs 21-29.

This species was described from cattle dung in South Africa (Camerik & Coetzee 1998).

This is the first record of phoresy of this species.

Material examined. SOUTH AFRICA: 2 females on Orphnus sp., Orange State, Farm Abel, 10–11.XII.2002, A. Frolov leg.
