TYPE LOCALITY: Senegal .

DISTRIBUTION: Senegal to Ethiopia, south to South Africa and Angola; perhaps Namibia.

STATUS: CITES - Appendix II.

SYNONYMS: acaciarum, albipes, braccatus, calago, dunni, galago, geoffroyi, intontoi, pupulus, sennariensis, sotikae, teng .

COMMENTS: Hill and Meester (1977:2) included granti in this species; but see Smithers and Wilson (1979).
