Eucharitolus lituratus (Melzer, 1934)

Redescription. Male. Integument light-brown. Pronotum brown with gray pubescence at sides of posterior margin and in a median longitudinal band. Elytra predominantly grayish pubescent, anterior third with brown pubescence, a brown pubescence “m” shaped fascia in the middle, and two spots in apical third. Femora with gray pubescence. Upper eye lobes well separated, distance between them equal to three times the width of a lobe. Antennae exceeding elytral apices at antennomere VI. Scape subequal in length to antennomere III, III–VII subequal in length, VIII–X slightly longer than III, antennomere XI twice the length of III. Pronotum with deep, dense and uniformly distributed punctures. Lateral tubercle basally dilated, projected backwards and slightly upwards. Prosternal process about 2/3 as wide as procoxal cavity. Mesosternum flattened. Mesosternal process 1/2 as wide as mesocoxal cavity.
Elytra about four times as long as prothorax; surface with deep, coarse and uniformly distributed punctures. Humeri slightly projected anteriorly and laterally. Apices obliquely truncate.
Metatarsomere I 1.5 times as long as II–III together. Apex of urotergite V slightly emarginate; urosternite V with apical margin semicircularly emarginate.
Female. Antennae exceeding elytral apices at antennomere VI–VII. Punctures of elytra deeper and denser in anterior half. Apex of urotergite V acute and gradually narrowed distally; urosternite V obliquely truncate and slightly emarginate, exceeding elytral apices by half its length.
Measurements, in mm. male/female. n= 3/3. Total length, 6.87±1.46/7.30±0.53; prothorax length, 1.27±0.23/ 1.30±0.10; prothorax width at widest point, 2.03±0.38/2.17±0.15; elytral length, 5.07±0.76/5.30±0.30; humeral width, 2.43±0.38/2.63±0.12.
