Description of Leuctra papukensis sp. n.

Morphological diagnosis. A small-sized Leuctra species. Body length of males: 5.5 mm; females 7.5 mm (n = 4). Males and females macropterous. Posteromedial process on tergite VIII of adult males triangular in shape (Figs. D1–D 2).
Type material. Holotype male: CROATIA. Papuk Mount region, Jankovac spring and waterfall. 45° 31’ 06.9” N, 17° 41’ 14.7” E, 544 m, 01.10.2005, leg. Dávid Murányi (MZL, catalogue number: GBIFCH01144638) . Paratypes: same locality and date, 1♁, 2♀, leg. Dávid Murányi (MZL, catalogue number: GBIFCH01144639) .
Description. Males (Figs. D1–D4). Tergite VII pale membranous, without processes, but with thinly sclerotized antecosta (Figs. D1–D 2). Antecosta of tergite VIII with dark, sclerotized margins having the shape of a small and narrow parabolic curve, with a posteromedial process attached to its vertex (Figs. D1–D 2). Posteromedial process dark brown, erect in side view (Fig. D3), width approximately ¼ to 1/5 th of the total segment’s width (Figs. D1–D 2). Posteromedial process on tergite VIII triangular in shape, medially not indented (Figs. D1–D 2). Tergite IX with a characteristic dark symmetrical pattern (Fig. D2). Tergite X with a very wide triangle-shaped epiproct (Fig. D2). Specillum gently curved in lateral view and tapering out in a rounded tip (Fig. D3). Specillum much longer than the stylus (Fig. D3). Sternite IX with a well-developed vesicle (Fig. D4).
Females (Figs. D5–D6). Proximal half of subgenital plate with a small nob, visible in ventral (Fig. D5) and in lateral (Fig. D6) views. Distal half with bifurcated lobes (Fig. D5), prominent and downcurved in lateral view (Fig. D6). Sternite IX with a typical dark pattern looking like a “skateboarding half-pipe” symbol (Fig. D5).
