Melitonoma juvenca species group

Description

Large species (body length 6.0– 9.1 mm) with black head, legs and elytral apex.

Remarks

This group currently includes four species from West Africa, one of which ( M. vinculata) also occurs in East Africa. Species included: Melitonoma juvenca (Lacordaire, 1848), M. simoni Weise, 1881, M. vinculata Weise, 1910 and M. dalaba sp. nov.
