Distribution outside Thailand: Sri Lanka (Meyrick 1905), China (Kawabe et al. 1992; Robinson et al. 1994), Brunei, Indonesia, Nepal, New Guinea, Philippine Is., and Malaysia (Robinson et al. 1994), Japan (Komai et al. 2011; Nasu & Komai 2013), Vietnam (Nedoshivina 2013), and India (Pathania et al. 2020).
Distribution in Thailand: C–– Nakhon Nayok Prov. (Khao Yai N.P.), E–– Trat Prov. (Trat Agroforestry R.St.), N–– Chiang Mai Prov. (Doi Pha Hom Pok N.P. and Doi Suthep-Pui N.P.) and Lampang Prov. (Ngao Teak Plantation), and NE–– Nakhon Ratchasima Prov. (Khao Yai N.P.) (Kawabe 1989; KKIC).
Host plants: Unknown in Thailand. Caterpillars feed on Fabaceae: Amherstia nobilis and Magnoliaceae: Magnolia champaca (Robinson et al. 2023) .
Remarks: Specimens from Thailand were collected in agroforestry area, teak plantation, dry evergreen forest, and hill evergreen forest at 30– 1,412 m. Robinson et al. (1994) also reported this species from Thailand but did not mention about province, location, and elevation.
