Argyroploce charadraea Meyrick, 1909, J. Bombay Nat. Hist. Soc. 19: 594. Type locality: Sri Lanka, Ceylon [Sri Lanka] ( Maskeliya). Lectotype (♂): NHM .

Argyroploce ptarmicopa Meyrick, 1936, Exotic Microlepid. 4: 612. Type locality: Taiwan, “ Formosa [Taiwan] ( Taihoku [Taipei])”. Lectotype (♂): NHM.

Platypeplus charadraea (Meyrick, 1909): Clarke, 1958: British Museum (Natural History) 3: 572, pl. 285, Figs. 2–2a (wing, ♂ genitalia).

Distribution outside Thailand: Sri Lanka (Meyrick 1909; Diakonoff 1973), Indonesia (Diakonoff 1973), Japan (Esaki et al. 1971; Komai et al. 2011; Nasu & Komai 2013), China (Kawabe et al. 1992, Yu & Li 2006a), Vietnam (Nedoshivina 2013), and Laos (Pinkaew & Phewphanh 2017).

Distribution in Thailand: C–– Nakhon Nayok N.P. (Khao Yai N.P.), E–– Chanthaburi Prov. (Ang-et Community Forest and Khao Khitchakut N.P.), Sa Kaeo Prov. (Pang Sida N.P.), and Trat Prov. (Trat Agroforestry R.St.), N–– Chiang Mai Prov. (Doi Pakia, Doi Suthep-Pui N.P., and Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden), NE–– Chaiyaphum Prov. (Chulabhorn Dam and Phu Khieo W.S.), Loei Prov. (Phu Ruea N.P.), and Nakhon Ratchasima Prov. (Khao Yai N.P. and Sakaerat Environmental R.St.), and W–– Kanchanaburi Prov. (Sahakorn Nikhom Community Forest) (Kawabe 1989; Pinkaew 2007; KKIC).

Host plants: Unknown in Thailand. Caterpillars feed on Euphobiaceae: Glochidion obovatum (Kawabe 1989) .

Remarks: Specimens from Thailand were collected in agroforestry area, recovered forest of old para-rubber plantation, mixed deciduous forest, deciduous dipterocarp forest, dry evergreen forest, and hill evergreen forest at 30– 1,500 m.
