Lophyra (Stenolophyra) luxerii (Dejean, 1831)

Remarks: A species with a wide distribution throughout western, central and eastern Africa. L. luxerii is one of the most common tiger beetles in Guinea-Bissau, occurring in open and sunny habitats, such as clearances, paths and footways. This species is sometimes syntopic with Myriochila vicina (Dejean) .
