Remarks: A species with a scattered distribution throughout the western territories of Africa. In Guinea- Bissau adults are active during the rainy season, occurring in the shaded moist places of paths at the edges of puddles. The species seems in regression, as happens with other tiger beetles of forested areas, as a consequence of the disappearance or degradation of the primary forests.
