Cratohaerea bruneti (Gory, 1833)

Geographic distribution: Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone.

Remarks: A very beautiful species (Fig. 6) with a more restricted distribution in western Africa. The adults of C. bruneti in Guinea-Bissau are active during the rainy season near or over the termite nests of Bellicositermes sp. ( Isoptera). Some ecological remarks on this species were given by Serrano (1997).
