Myriochila (Monelica) flavidens (Guérin-Méneville, 1849)
Geographic distribution: Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, People`s Republic of Congo, Uganda, Sudan, Eritrea and Ethiopia.

Remarks: Another species that was described originally from Guinea-Bissau (Guérin-Méneville 1849). Known mainly from the western and central territories of Africa, but reaching some north-eastern countries. The adults in Guinea-Bissau are active during the rainy season at mud flats and damp edges of bogs. It is usual to observe M. flavidens with C. lutaria, C. octoguttata, and M. melancholica .
