Subgenus Distichalius

Diagnosis. The diagnostic characters of the subgenus Distichalius are determined based on the morphological data of two species: Q. capucinus and Q. cinctus (Voris 1939; Kasule 1970; the present study). Because the description of Q. capucinus lacks a number of morphological details, only two characters can be pointed out as diagnostic of the subgenus level: posterior part of nasale similar to that in Q. fuliginosus (Fig. 3B), and segment III of maxillary palp longer than segment II.
