Lepidura rubicunda Dasch, 1974 . 17, 30, 476 (Original description, keyed, comparative illustration of metasoma); Lanfranco, 1980. 79 (Listed).
Diagnosis: Head and mesosoma reddish brown. Antenna, anterior and posterior margin of all tibiae, all tarsi and a spot on anterior portion of T2, dark brown. Remainder of legs and metasoma light green. Mandible elongate, with ventral tooth slightly longer than dorsal; vein 1m-cu&(RS+M)b angled; spiracle placed posteriorly of midlength of T1 by up to 3.00× its diameter. Propodeum without areola, but with subpentagonal area delimited by complete lateral longitudinal and posterior transverse carina and incomplete anterior transverse and median longitudinal carina (Fig. 1).
