22. Dohrniphora qinnica Liu

Dohrniphora qinnica Liu, 2001:108 .
Male: Frons width 0.30–0.34mm, black, with sparse hairs. First row of bristles straight, antials further apart from each other than from either is to an antero-lateral. Second row of bristles straight, all four bristles are equidistant. Postpedicels dark brown, globose, slightly pointed. Pre-apical arista long with small hairs. Palp yellow, 2 times as long as its width, with 5 apical bristles. Thorax tergite and pleuron dark brown. Scutellum with 2 bristles and 4 short hairs, of which 2 are in front of bristles and 2 are behind bristles. Wing length 1.68–1.75mm. Costal index 0.49–0.51, Costal ratios 6.5:1.75:1. Costal cilia 0.04mm. Veins brown and membrane pale. Halter yellow. Legs yellowish brown. Fore tibia with 6 dorsal bristles in row, of which upmost is the longest. Dorsal hair palisade extends up to 2/3 of tibia. Mid tibia with isolated bristle. Posterior face of hind femur with 4 peg-like bristles, which come from a process. Hind tibia without dorsal isolated bristle before apex. Abdomen tergites black, Venter yellowish brown. terminalia brown. Cercus yellow. Body length 1.8mm.
Female: Body length 2.25mm. Wing length 2.0mm. Costal index 0.53. Costal ratios 6.5:1.75:1. Costal cilia 0.04mm.
Distribution. China (Shaanxi).
Specimen examined. 1♂ (holotype), Shaanxi, Yangling (34°15'N, 108°6' E), 8-X-1991, Guang-Chun Liu;1♀(paratype), same data as above; 1♂, Shaanxi, Mt. Qinling (33°43' N, 107°58' E), 18-VII-1992, Guang-Chun Liu; 1♂, Shaanxi, Yangling (34°15'N, 108°6' E), 17-VI-1993, Guang-Chun Liu.
Remarks. The species is similar to D. nepalensis Borgmeier, but different as follows: postpedicels dark brown; venter yellowish brown; fore tibia with 6 bristles; dorsal hair palisade extends 1/5 of tibia; posterior face of hind femur with 4 peg-like bristles.
