Material examined. 2 males SYNTYPES, VIETNAM (S-Annam), Nhatrang, leg. C. Dawydoff 1936 (NMW 2573). 2 males VIETNAM, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Con Dao National Park. June 2010. Nguyen Hun Thuc leg., (CUMZ).

Diagnosis. A species of the induratus subgroup. Differing from all other species (except T. induratus) in the subgroup by having two processes of anterior coxal fold (ac), the outer forming a slender, sharp spine, the inner broadly rounded, flexible and by a very thick ac laterally. Differs from T. induratus by being much smaller and by having lower paracoxites (px).

Description. Adult males with 56–61 podous rings, no apodous rings. Length 9–11 cm, width 5.6–6.5 mm. Color in life unknown; preserved specimens with antennae, legs, metazona, epiproct, hypoproct, paraprocts dark brown; prozona brown.

Gonopods (Figs. 2 A–D) as in T. induratus, except for the paraxocites (px) which are lower.
