Types: The syntype in HNHM was destroyed. The syntype in BMNH from Kenya is the only surviving syntype and is here designated lectotype (Fig. 24).

Remarks: Exoprosopa fissicornis is readily recognised by the bifurcation at the apex of the antenna. Greathead (2001a) provided a detailed diagnosis that supplements the characters in Bezzi (1924).
