Colonies amorphous, sub-colonies non delimited. Sheath diffluent, hyaline to yellowish-brown. Cells irregularly disposed, oblong, 3.38–4.75 µm diam., 4.91–7.95 µm long. Individual envelopes only in cells near colony margin, firm, 0.78–2.1 µm wide, non-lamellate, hyaline to brown. Cell content granulated, blue-green.
Habitat:— Wet soil associate to Gloeothece samoensis and Lyngbya ocreata .
