Chlorogloea sp.1 (Fig.9H).

Colonies elongated or amorphous. Sheath firm, thin, smooth, non-lamellated, hyaline. Cells in rows, spherical, 1.97– 4.59 µm wide. Individual envelopes conspicuous, 0.51–1.41 µm wide, non-lamellated, rarely present. Cell content, homogenous grayish-green to purple. Without cells in resting stage.

Habitat:— Rock, tree bark, and concrete inside the forest; associated with Gloeocapsoides pleurocapsoides, Hassallia byssoidea, Gloeocapsa stegophila, Gloeocapsa compacta, Gloeocapsa sp.1, Chroococcidiopsis sp.1 and Aphanothece densa .

Notes:— The cell dimensions differ this morphotype from other Chlorogloea species.
