Basonym: Camptylonemopsis sennae Komárek (2003) .
Filaments forming fascicles conical, erect and parallel. Sheath firm, 0.63–2.83 µm wide, 1 lamella or absent, hyaline to brown. Trichomes cylindrical, with false geminate branches rare, not constricted. Cell cylindrical to isodiametric, 6.04–11.67 µm wide, 9.2–21.6 µm long, ratio l/w = 1.37. Apical cell rounded. Cell content granulated, blue-green. Heterocyte isodiametric to short, 8.79–21.26 µm wide, 6.32–20.36 µm long, intercalary position. Necridia present. Near apical zone with numerous hormogonia with cells short, slight constricted.
