Type:— CHINA. Guizhou [Kweichow]: Dushan [Tuhshan],? Bazhai [Pachai], elev. ca. 600 m, 22 August 1930, Y. Tsiang 6568 (holotype W, not traced; isotypes A00034339, E00502160, IBSC0419598, PE00023066, PE00023067, US00089742). Paratypes in CQNM: CHINA. Guangxi [Kwangsi]: Luocheng [Luchen], Du Feng Shan [Chu Feng Shan], 15 km southwest of Sanfang [Shan Fang], 8 June 1928, R. C. Ching 5840 (CQNM0002475, CQNM0002476, IBSC0419564, PE00023068, PE00023069).

Note:—No original field notes is attached on the duplicates of R.C. Ching 5840 at CQNM, but the collecting date on the label was erroneously written as ‘ September 1928 ’. However, it is stated on the duplicate at PE (PE00023068) that the gathering R. C. Ching 5840 was collected from Sanfang Town, Luocheng County. Another paratype, R. C. Ching 7504 (only one sheet found, PE00023069) may be collected from the west of Baise [Poseh], and the other three gatherings (Petelot 3590, Fenzel 43 and Tsiang 6700) cited in the protologue (Handel-Mazzetti 1932a) could not be traced.
