Note: —In the protologue, Yang (1945) cited a single gathering but he did not specify the herbarium where the specimens are deposited. Seven duplicates were traced from CQNM (0017385), IBK (00004618, 00004619, 00190160), IBSC (0046966, 0046970) and PE (00294274) and all are syntypes since no holotype was designated according to Art. 9.6 (Turland et al. 2018). Here the duplicate at PE (00294274) is designated as lectotype because it bears the original field notes and has relative complete branches and infructescences.
