Type:— CHINA. Guangxi [Kwangsi]: Lingyun Xian [Linyen], [Bing-loo], elev. ca. 860 m, 2 August 1928, R. C. Ching 6630 (lectotype designated here, PE00023269; isolectotypes CQNM0004988, IBSC0375020, NAS00070477, PE00023270) .

Note:—Handel-Mazzetti (1931a) did not specify the herbarium where the type specimen was deposited. Five duplicates were traced and all of them are thus syntypes under Art. 9.6 (Turland et al. 2018). Among of them, the duplicate at PE (00023269), which Lin & Yang (2015b) indicated as “ holotype ”, bears the printed identification label with the annotation “type” and is preserved in good condition. It is therefore selected as the lectotype here.
