Fang 13289 (PE00023065, KUN0601580, SZ); Wu Hou Ci [Wu-hou-tzu], 7 March 1937, S. S. Chien 5861 (SZ). One paratype in CQNM: CHINA. Sichuan: Chengdu, Jing Ju Si, 16 March 1946, W. P. Fang 19512 (A00034327, CQNM0004146) .
Note:—Fang (1947) designated three gatherings, W. P. Fang 19667 (mature leaves), W. P. Fang 13289 (fruiting) and S. S. Chien 5861 (flowering) as types, and all of them are syntypes according to Art.9.6 (Turland et al. 2018). It is informed that the duplicates at SZ are more complete and in better condition to identify this species. Because we did not examine the specimens there, we do not designate the lectotype for the name.
