Dendarus extensus (Faldermann, 1837)

This species was recorded for Iran and Turkmenistan by Iwan et al. (2020) but it is distributed only in Central Transcaucasia, Armenia, Georgia and W Azerbaijan (Abdurakhmanov & Nabozhenko 2011, Nabozhenko et al. 2021). We studied also one specimen with the label “ Artvin ” (now town in Turkey) in HNHM. Thus, the species is recorded for the fauna of Turkey for the first time.
