Thyropygus cuisinieri Carl, 1917

Thyropygus cuisinieri— Krishnan, 1968: 8, 13 (D); Bai, 2001: 51 (R). “South India ”; Nilgiris. Thyropygus cuisinierli (sic!)— Bai, 2001: 46 (M).

Remark: The Indian records and Krishnan’s (1968) redescription and assignment to Thyropygus, which again lacked male characters, are certainly erroneous, because T. cuisinieri seems confined to mainland Vietnam and several islands in the Gulf of Siam off Cambodia and Thailand (Jeekel 2006, Pimvichai et al. 2011b).
