Thyropygus induratus Attems, 1936

Thyropygus induratus — Krishnan, 1968: 8, 12 (D); Chowdaiah & Kanaka, 1979: 10, 14, 17 (M); Bano, 1983: 169 (M); Achar, 1987: 150 (M); Bai, 2001: 46, 51 (R). “North-East India ”; Nilgiris.

Remark: Again, the record and redescription from India (Krishnan 1968) lack male characters and are surely erroneous because T. induratus is only known from central and eastern Thailand (Pimvichai et al. 2011a). It was reduced to a subspecies of T. allevatus (Karsch, 1881) by Jeekel (2006: 12), but Pimvichai et al. (2011a: 47) has allotted it full species status.
