15. Sorolopha semiculta (Meyrick, 1909)
Argyroploce semiculta Meyrick, 1909: 604 (3, Ƥ, Ceylon).
Argyroploce heteraspis Meyrick, 1936: 614 (Ƥ, Formosa).
Olethreutes semiculta: Clarke, 1958: 547, plate 272, figs. 3-3a, 4-4c (lectotype designation, heteraspis syn.; wings, 3 genit.).
Sorolopha semiculta: Diakonoff, 1973: 76, figs. 114, 121-123 (3, Ƥ genit.).
Diagnosis. This species is very similar to S. argyropa Diakonoff, 1973 in male genitalia. According to Diakonoff (1973), it can be separated from the latter species by the socius with less robust and denser apical bristles, the valva with the angulation of the sacculus less projected, the smaller spine cluster on the angulation, and the shorter aedeagus.
Material examined. China: 13, Menglun (21°55' N, 101°13' E), Yunnan Province, 570 m, 13-VIII-2005, leg. Yingdang Ren.
Distribution. China (Taiwan, Yunnan), Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam.
Food plant. Alceodaphne semicarpifolia (Lauraceae) (Diakonoff 1973).
Remarks. Liu & Li (2002) reported this species from Yunnan, China.
