Specimen examined. PERU. Pasco: Pasco, Yanacancha, La Quinua, rout PE-3N, km 144,500, 3642 m, 10°37′28”S, 76°10′28”W, 18 May 2018, debris and rhytidome of Polylepis sp. (mc, 3 Jan 2020, pH 6.23), Treviño Myx 656 (HSP) .

Notes. Known from the Northern Hemisphere in Europe, North America and Asia (Poulain et al. 2011), recently reported in the Southern Hemisphere (Argentina) in the Austral Andes (Ronikier et al. 2020). It is recorded for the first time in the Peruvian territory, inhabiting the bark of Polylepis trees.
