Huaraz, Cajamarquilla, 4233 m, 9º40′24.5”S, 77º41′46.0”W, 22 Apr 2013, leaves of Puya raimondii, Lado 23077 (MA-Fungi 95240) .
Notes. With iridescent peridium alternated with thick calcareous scales, more noticeable in the upper part (Fig. 4D). Similar to Ph. australiense S.L. Stephenson, Novozh. & Prikhodko, distinguishable by the calcareous columella, but the two species could be conspecific regarding the remaining morphological traits.
