Notes. This species has a funnel-shaped calyculus, a slightly excentric stalk, and a capillitium expanding after dehiscence. It may be confused with Arcyria incarnata (Pers. ex J.F. Gmelin) Pers., which, in contrast, presents a flattened calyculus, non-excentric stalk, and slightly laxer capillitium sparsely expanded.
