Notes. The Peruvian specimens show the morphology of the species L. biforis (laterally flattened plasmodiocarps and dehiscence by an apical split) but with larger spores (8–10 x 9–12 μm) and very faint dark incrustations on the inner side of the peridium, usually conspicuously marked.
