Oaxaca, San Andrés Huayapam, 17.12131°N, 96.65792°W, elevation 2036 m, oak forest (2♂), adults emerged 31/July/2022 from branches Quercus conzattii Trel . cut 05/ December/2021, coll . J .G. Martínez-Hernández. No host associations have previously been reported for this species, but Westcott (2016) speculated that the species might utilise oaks.
