Remarks. Leodice torresiensis was first described based on six syntypes. However, two of these belong to another species and were assigned to E. tribranchiata in Fauchald (1986), see Remarks above. Leodice torresiensis has been considered a synonym of L. antennata (e.g., Hartman 1959). The relationship between the two species is discussed) in the Remarks in the L. antennata section.
