Distribution in Iran. Fars (Hosseinie 1978), Khuzestan (Toledo 2004), Iran (no locality cited) (Nilsson 2003). General distribution. Iran, Iraq (Nilsson 2003, 2011).

Comments. Prefers large, shallow, slow moving streams and marshy areas (Hosseinie 1978).
