Description

Distribution

Probably native to the Caribbean, Central America and Brazil (Brook et al. 2010). In Chile this species has been reported only from Easter Island (39°48 ʹ S, 73°14 ʹ W), Región de Valparaiso (Kirch et al. 2009).

Possible mechanism of introduction/Status

Human transportation/unestablished (Kirch et al. 2009).
