Distribution.

This is the first record of the species from Namibia (Freeman 1956; Freeman and Cranston 1980; Curtis 1991; Harrison 2004). Cladotanytarsus pseudomancus is a widespread species, thus far recorded from the Afrotropical Region, including Madagascar, from the Oriental Region: India (West Bengal), China (Hainan) and the Palaearctic Region: Russian far east, France, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Oman (Gilka 2009).
