Comments: This species is known from Palawan, New Ireland, New Britain, Sabah, Singapore, VietNam, New Guinea. It is known in New Guinea from NorthWest at Waris (South Hollandia), Bokondini (40km North of Baliem valley), NorthEast at Wanuma (Adelbert Mts.), South East at Laloki and Brown River (both near Port Moresby) (Drake & Ruhoff 1965). This is the most widespread species of the genus. Eritingis pacifica (Kirkaldy) is known from New Britain and Fiji (Drake & Ruhoff 1965). The other seven species inhabit Australia.
