Comments: These specimens differ slightly from the holotype from Amboina Island that the rostrum reaches middle of the metasternum and the metasternal laminae are not widely separated. Cottothucha oceanae, the only species of the genus, is known from Amboina Island, New Guinea, and Philippine Islands.
