Habitat. Common in anthropized biotopes (Blakemore 2003).

Distribution in Anatolia. Antalya and Alanya (Mısırlıoğlu 2007).

World distribution. It is probably indigenous to China (Sun et al. 2015). But widely recorded in tropical and Mediterranean countries (Sims & Gerard 1999; Blakemore 2008a; Rota 2013b). It has been recorded in East Nearctic region, Neotropical region, North Africa, Oriental region, Australia and in Europe (Spain, Britain I., Azores) (Omodeo 1956; Sims & Gerard, 1999; Mısırlıoğlu 2007; Rota 2013b).
