Small shrub. Leaves alternate, linear. Flowers in several-flowered clusters at ends of branches, bisexual, ebracteolate; perianth lobes 5, free almost to base, winged in fruit; stamens 5, alternating with scale-like staminodes; anthers with minute, caducous appendages; stigmas 2, subulate.
