Chrysis grohmanni Dahlbom, 1854: 271 . Lectotype ♀ designated by Rosa & Xu 2015: 25; Italy: Sicily (MRSN, examined) ( succincta group).

Remarks. The occurrence of Chrysis grohmanni grohmanni is limited to the West-Mediterranean; in Central Asia other species occur. As for the case of Chrysis ignita, this taxon must be considered as sensu lato until specimens identified by Mocsáry are double-checked.

Distribution. Kazakhstan, ‘Turkestan’, Uzbekistan (Mocsáry 1889, 1892, 1909).
