Ellampus (Philoctetes) kozhevnikovi Semenov-Tian-Shanskij, 1932: 20. Holotype ♂; Uzbekistan: Fergana, Shachimardan (ZMMU, examined). Synonym of Omalus imbecillus (Mocsáry, 1889) according to Rosa et al. 2015a: 18.

Omalus kozheznikovi: Kimsey & Bohart 1991: 248. Incorrect subsequent spelling.

Distribution. Iran, Turkey, Oman, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Tadjikistan, Uzbekistan (Rosa et al. 2024).
