Remarks. All specimens examined are characterised by a light green coulor, instead of the dark blue of the type and other specimens collected from Central Asia to Mongolia. The head is also slighly wider in frontal view. However, general habitus, sculpture, shape of apical margin, black spots and genitalia are closely similar. Pending molecular analyses, we consider these specimens to belong to Chrysis speciosa Radoszkowski.
Distribution. Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan (Radoszkowski 1877; Mocsáry 1889; du Buysson in André 1896; Kimsey & Bohart 1991).
