Chrysis ambigua ssp. lygaea Linsenmaier, 1997: 286 . Holotype ♂; Tajikistan: Dushambe, Warshob slope, 2000 m, 9.vii.1987, leg. K. Bleyl (paratype from Uzbekistan: Almas) (NMLU, examined) ( cerastes group).
Material examined. Uzbekistan: 1♂, 1♀, Almas, 800 m, 2–18.VIII.1988, leg. P. Salk (NMLU) .
Remarks. Chrysis lygaea can be immediately separated from the other similar species of the cerastes group by the unique colour pattern, entirely blue.
Distribution. Tajikistan, Uzbekistan (Linsenmaier 1997).
