Material examined. 1 female (Siargao18_34), Mahayahay, Del Carmen, N9.86077, E126.03311, 61.4± 5.7 m, 8 April 2018, 2357 hours.
Previously known only from a single male holotype, the female of this species is described for the first time: Generally similar to male described by Hebard (1922), including colouration and size. Ovipositor similar to Eumecopoda moluccarum (Griffini, 1908) —elongated and weakly curved dorsad at the apex; subgenital plate also similar with distal margin broadly bilobate, with emargination between lateral lobe shallow. Considerably smaller and stouter than congeners.
